What are the cancellation conditions for accommodation providers in the event of COVID illness or government travel restrictions this winter?

You have booked your stay and are wondering about the cancellation or postponement conditions. The conditions are not the same depending on the hosts. The first thing to do is to contact yours to make them specify these conditions.

The answer to your questions can only be individual and depending on the period chosen in relation to the state of health and government decisions in effect at the time of your stay.

You must distinguish between the two cases:

A government directive due to the health situation prevents you from coming to enjoy your stay in our resort: you can request the reimbursement of deposits paid to your accommodation provider.

You or a member of your family is affected by COVID and you must cancel your stay: either insurance taken out with your stay covers this possibility and your deposit will be refunded to you upon presentation of proof, or this is not the case and some hosts support this scenario. you will need to contact him and discuss the various possibilities with him.

What are the accommodation providers' obligations regarding the cleanliness or disinfection of accommodation?

The disinfection of furnished tourist accommodation, hotels and tourist / prestige residences is governed by protocols and good practice guides that the accommodation providers apply.

To be completely reassured, please contact your host and ask him about the protocols he have put in place to welcome you in the best conditions.
